So, I was going through the social network Letterbox (the Goodreads of movies, basically) and they did two lists of favorite movies of the community based on their gender and the results are fascinating and essay worthy:

Some points about HE:

- In the HE list we can see scifi classics and cult classics.

- HE tends to be more traditional (the oldest movie is from 1968).

- Male centric stories.

Some points about SHE:

- We see mostly realistic dramas with indie vibes, some lgbt.

- SHE tends to like new cinema and trends from the moment (the oldest movie is from 2001).

- We see both male centric and female centric stories.

Last points:

- Interstellar is true gender equality, it seems.

-When you see the rest of each list (with 100 movies) the HE list has HER movies and the SHE list has HE ones. So, this proves that gender doesn’t matter that much actually when it comes to movies.

Except that Gone girl is at 8 on the SHE list and nowhere to be seen in HE. Dudes truly fear Amy Dune.
